C-programmer needed f. desklet

Hi -

this is probably a very strange request.

But I think I got some nice ideas for a taskbar desklet, but no chance for realising it...

Since AveDesk rules my desktop I'm thinking about getting rid of this windows feature - I can imagine quite well how a substitute should look to be a tiny yet full replacement for the windows taskbar.

Unfortunately this is nothing I could try myself with the bit of scripting I know.

This needs a real "natural born prorammer" with I guess a lot of knowledge of the Windows API (running tasks and systray) -

If someone is interested in this hell of a work, or maybe more than one, I could post a kind of 'design study'...

Actually this - idea and graphics - is all I can contribute, so I'm asking for quite a favor.

That's why I'm posting it as a desklet request instead of a help topic.

Or, if everyone thinks this is a totally useless desklet, you can post this, too and I stop spending time on the thought - maybe the easier way ;)

I know exactly what you're talking about, but for your request, Samurize would be a way better choice.

podxp has a taskbar desklet and you can also hide the taskbar....

Hi -

I know both Samurize and PodXP (actually I started skinning with Samurize) - they're both quite powerful programs.

The reason I'd like to see such a desklet is, that I don't want to run another program as well just for a taskbar - for all other "widgets" I'm using I need only AveDesk.

Kind of looking for an all-in-one solution...

Anyway I think it's only about making a start - both Samurize and PodXP did not just "inherit" such a feature, but someone (in this case the Samurize Crew and leFOOL) made one. Why not for AveDesk? :)
