Eternal Aqua Graphite Tabs

http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/attachment....=1&d=1149898737

This is my current tabs for Eternal Aqua Safire Graphite, I am trying to modify the tab color to match the bookmarks bar.

I am wondering if someone knows how I can make my tabs similar to this one as in this old Safari theme for Firefox http://screenshots.haque.net/screenshots/v...nshot-12469.jpg

Any heads up or help is greatly appreciated. Thx.

have you installed tab mix plus? search on addons.mozilla.org

Yeah I installed Tab Mix Plus a while back with the theme. I noticed that my inactive tab colors match the skin background and the active tab color is much too light. Wonder if there is a way to darken them both through a userchrome.css tweak of the tab colors to make it more Safari like.

it cuold be a conflict with the brushed theme you have

1.Olpen *.jar (winrar) -go to-> name theme/global

2. extract activetab-middle.png

3. olpen activetab-middle.png with PhotoShop and mod her -> save

4. delit activetab-middle.png from .jar/global/activetab-middle.png

5. drag you activetab-middle.png in .jar/global/

6. close theme / add to FF / reset FF

goodluck

ps My english no good( sorry

I got my problem figured out, I just replaced the tabback.png for the toolbar and the activetab-middle.png from previous Safari Firefox themes into my current theme's corresponding global settings and the colors now match Safari.

But of course I then figured something else in between the tab bar and bookmark bar is a line when more than one tab is opened, anyway i can get rid of that line http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/attachment....09&d=1149898137 Looks like something to do with the borders of the tab bar not conecting to the bookmarks bar in my customization. Thx for any tips on this.

You checked in the Firefox Skinning Guide, right? I'm pretty sure there's a link in the first two or three pages on changing the tab color (though I could be wrong):

Hope this helps,
