Looking for a Thunderbird extension that will play audio files attached to emails

I checked the extensions mirror and the official extensions page on mozilla and i couldn't find anything.. i'm sure there has to be some kind of extension to do this..

does anyone know of any?

Why not just doubleclick on it and have it open in your favorite media player? You want it to play inside Thunderbird? I've never heard of an extension that will do this....

because i would like it to play inline, rather than loading up another program.
