RK Launcher, A very very simple question

One of the best things in RK launcher is that like Mac dock it can show RUNNING applications on the right side.

No I don't mean the little black triangle under the icon, but an icon on the right side.

Like you open MSN, and on the right side you get an icon (representing the actual window), or you run a clean disk (delete temporary files) and up pops a nice little disk icon on the right,.. when the process is done it goes away automatically.

You can change this icon png and believe me you want to. Because it's a win32 icon.

The problem is that this best functionality of rkdock is ruined because it doesn't save the icon.

1. Set rk dock to show new applications

2. Open MSN messenger, see the icon appear on the right.

3. Make it a nice Mac icon.

4. Close rkdock and open it again, and be dissapointed.

Any workarounds? I tried searching the entire rk directory for files that contain the name of the icon I change to but to no avail, it looks like it doesn't save it anywhere, maybe raduking forgot?

No, that does not work.

open "itemlist.conf" (just use notepad)

copy one of the existing shortcuts that are listed there, and change to the information to match where your msn.exe file is, and what you want to call it, and what icon you want to use

No, Raduking did not forget to include a file that lets you specify your icons. And no, you didn't look, or else you would have found it. I don't think you searched on the forums either, 'cause this question has been asked and answered before.

I don't understand you,

In itemlist.conf

There already is an MSN section:

[RKDockItem]

type = shortcut

name = MSN Messenger

icon = C:/Documents and Settings/Gold/My Documents/tools/System Icons currently in use/1400 Tiger PNGs/Applications/&Applications&iChat.png

link = C:Program FilesMSN Messengermsnmsgr

show = normal

This is for the MSN icon on the Left side of the dock. That is not the issue if you read the initial post accurately.

How do I add an icon for the right side MSN item which appears when I select "show new applications"?
