Aqua-Soft ForumsI need some help here, I need to know how to get edonkey2000 to work on OS X, so that whenever I clik an edk link I can download the file. I downlaod the terminal app, but I don't know how to get it to download edk links, Help Please!!!!

Although., I don't think I could possibly explain how to do it. It wayyy too long and complicated. It uses the telnet command by the way..

Just to warn you taha, Telnet is the most insecure POS ive seen. So if you're doing anything "wrong", you may want to use SSH instead. Its much more secure.
PS. Where can I get that super-c00l wallpaper?
Well, I use the telnet x.x.x.x xxxx command inside good ol' terminal. And it seems to do the trick, and so far I haven't gotten any viruses, so its all good. 
And that wallpaper is from Elpincho's website. Do a search for him and visit his website.
what contrasura tried to say is that telnet uses plain text for communication, anyone listening in the network can easily get things like your username and password aswell as anything else that you are sending over the wire.
ssh will encrypt the data so noneone can still anything
FTP is another protocol where everything is sent in plain text.. so carefull with those passwords.
