Disabling Sound Effects?

Is there any option available to me to disable sound effects patched in with the software? I'd like everything minus the sound effects.

Uhh.. Yeah.. Just don't select Extras -> Iceman's Sound Scheme..

You can also make your computer go dumb by... Control panel>sounds>schemes-no sounds.
