Error message on startup

Warning!

The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes

This is what I get for finally biting the bullet and installing iTunes 6. Any ideas? I've tried repairing and reinstalling iTunes (several times), but that either messes up Mplugin--indeed, for a while, Mplugin wouldn't recognize that iTunes was installed--, or it does nothing to fix the problem.

After I click the okay button, iTunes loads up normally (Mplugin is installed) but I'm unable to Burn a CD.

Thanks for your tips :),

did you uninstall mplugin during all this? that should be the last thing you install. and then, only after you've successfully installed and run itunes at least once. (eh, you know all this...) but to the error message...

sounds like you should uninstall mplugin. uninstall itunes. uninstall your cd burning software. run scandisk. then reinstall your cd burning prog. then, reinstall itunes. then mplugin.

or buy a mac. :P
