No, there is nothing. You either have to use WinMac, fork over the cash to StarDock, or live with the fact that you can't use anything. And you should not start a whole new thread for this when you just had a thread asking about a free finder bar. If there was another suitable finder bar, you would have already heard about it in these forums.
Out of all the stuff out there, we only have 2 options for this??
technically, it's easy to cut out the finder bar from an aqua app (ex. italk) because that's just a vb form, but jef would have to do it as i don't have access to the source.
As of right now yes you only really have 2 options. And nobody should complain. Yes, Winmac may not be that great, but it's still an option. Not everything is free. If you can't come up with $20 somehow or another, then don't turn your Windows into a Mac, or learn to program so you can develop one yourself. You should all be lucky that we have 3 docks to choose from and every single one of them is free. ObjectBar is a great application and well worth the $20. Coding like that isn't easy people.
Ya, flyakites right. We should be happy with what we have. I am seriously thinking about spending the money for those stardock apps. If we really want macs we're going to have to pay for them. Hey, its better than spending over $1000 for an iMac and it looks just as good. Well, very very close! ![]()
$1000 bucks for an iMac? Here in Mexico the cheapest is near to $2000!
Damn! That's why I can't get one ![]()
