Changing "My Music" Icon?

Hi,

I've googled, and still haven't found an answer so.

Does anybody knows how I can change the icons like My Music, My Pictures, My Videos, etc?

Thanks

Personally I use TuneUp Utilities, but it's not free.

Others like iPhile, CandyXP are really nice and very simple to use. ;)

Well, this is what I used to do. I copied the directory from My Documents to another location which changed its system directory property and then I could change its icon. Then rename the original directory in My Documents and copy your directory(the one whose icon you changed) to My Documents.

This is as far as I can remember. Play around and you will get it. Its a long procedure but it work(s/ed) for sure.

The icons are here ->

C:WINDOWSSystem32mydocs.dll

C:WINDOWSSystem32shell32.dll

C:WINDOWSSystem32dllcachemydocs.dll

C:WINDOWSSystem32dllcacheshell32.dll

and use it

Have fun.

Hi I also use TuneUp... But how do you change All the Folders to a theme such as Aqueous for example? Sorry if its OffTopic

I know it is a bit late but for me the best and easiest solution is:

having Show hidden files and folders enabled

inside the folder there is desktop.ini file

inside there is a line Iconfile: some path

a: just copy the icon inside the folder and write the name of icon (with .ico) where some path is

b: write full path to the location of your desired icon

I hope this is not a stupid answer everyone knows.
