Installing AveDesk 1.3 Problem

Howdy, I'm trying to install AveDesk 1.3 onto my PC. I've unZipped everything, and I double-clicked the AveDesk Application [which I assumed installed it]. However, I keep getting an error.

It says:

Top Bar:

'AveDesk.exe - Unable To Locate Component'

Actual Box:

'This application has failed to start because d3d9.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.'

I'd post a link to an image, but it won't let me, as I haven't made 15 posts yet.

Do I need to be connected to the Internet to install it, as I am installing it on my own PC, which doesn't have the Internet on it. It's running Windows XP, if that helps anything.

Google says that this is related to old graphic card drivers, d3d9.dll is needed for Direct 3D (which is used by AveDesk)

Try to update your drivers, download newest DirectX, or simply download the missing dll here:

Double clicking doesn't install it; you're supposed to drag the folder into program files.

just install directx9 for d3d9.dll

Okay, I dragged the AveDesk folder into the Program Files, and I unZipped the d3d9.dll file into the AveDeck folder. Now I get this coming up:

Top Bar:

'Avedesk.exe - Entry Point Not Found'

Actual Box:

'The procedure entry point DdEntry10 could not be located in the dynamic link library DDRAW.dll'

This would be sooo much simpler if Yahoo Widgets didn't need the Internet to run :/

AveDesk requires that you have installed DirectX 9c, which you can get from the Microsoft site.
