A skin for my forum

If you are planning on making a serious Discussion site (Forum). Then, please do not use invision free. Most people, when you tell them you made your site with invision free, they look the other way. Im not telling you that you shouldnt but its your choice in the matter. Anyways do you know how hard making a skin for that is? You have to link all the images to another server because you cant upload images. It isnt necessarily hard, it is just a pain in the butt. Also you cant install any mods, ect. . It is very restricted on what you can do. Plus, it is outdated software. Im not trying to get you away from using invisionfree, if thats your only option go for it. Just giving my opinion. I am not talking about the forums being good or not. Invisionboard is a high respected forum product. If you really want to get into having a forum. A. Buy a domain, B. Get some good hosting, starting out you can use really whatever, something reliable and cheap. If everything goes well (active members, traffic, ect..) then I would personaly get (mt) Media Template as they have some great plans at some low prices. Now for forum software. If you dont have money to spend .. I dont know of really any Remotely Hosted Forums, you could stick with invsionfree if you really wanted to. If you were to go with getting a domain name and hosting here is a list of Forum Software (small list, I cant think of any at the moment).
