Aqua-Soft Forumsso i had been buisy for a while, but now i have tons of free time and ive started porting dashboard widgets to avescripter. im almost done with mpg calculator and gas prices, i have permission from http://www.interdimensionmedia.com to release the port for their gas widget, but im still working on it, not everything works perfectly yet. but when im done with that i was wondering if anyone has any favorit dashboard, or konfabu... yahoo widget engine widgets, that they would like for avedesk. note there are limits to what i can do, but ill try my best.

Yes....The one Yahoo widget I keep on my desktop all the time is the "Radar_uPikiT" widget. It allows you to keep doppler weather radar images that update automatically in a small window. Really cool since I don't have to open a new browser window and navigate to my local TV station's weather site to see if the thunderstorms are close by. If you could do that one, I'd be able to unload YWE.
I also like the Movie Times widget which lets me see what's playing at a couple local theaters, but only call that one up once in a while.

I'd love to have something like this, had a go at porting it myself but I suck at those things:

I know this has been requested many times... But I would love a desklet that showed (and possibly fetched) Lyrics for songs playing in *insert_media_player_here* ala http://www.widgetgallery.com/index.php?search=lyric&x=0&y=0.
I'm not sure how hard this would be and also legal issues surrounding the use of copyright lyrics. But even if it just displayed lyrics I would be greatful
hey, i got buisy again with finals, but im still working on porting these widgets. just takeing me longer than expected. the itunes lyrics thing wont be too hard, ve worked with communicating with itunes thru com before so i dont think ill have too much of a problem with that, just realize its on the bottom of my list.
