OK, I know that this is Adium X, but with all the skin modding i've done, I have come really close to getting this perfect. I need to know if this type of skin is even possible in miranda-im, with the latest clist modern.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and if you know something very close, excluding Tweety's Adium, or Adium 2.0, please post a link.

Should be possible, although I never got it to use different PNGs for the first/last contact of a group...
Code for it is existent, though. So yeah, should be possible, but I did not bother to work out how exactly.
Austin: AFAIK Mirandium PLUS does not use clist_modern but tweakui plugin and some other plugin-thingies

Yes this is possible and I even think that there is a skin that does this (or something like it) already. I will look when I get home.
If there isnt I think that for any one with the know how it would be a trivial task to make.
In the new clistmodern beta there is an options page for editing objects within a skin. So it would just be a matter of creating the pngs for group, contact and last contact and substituting then into a premade skin like tweety's adium.
