iChat for Miranda

iChat lookalike skin clist modern for Miranda IM.

Features built-in shadows and included icons.

Before applying the skin install the SLucida Grande font (smooth version of Lucida Grande, included in archive)

Button Actions :

add button : search/add contacts

text button : show main menu

voice button : hide/show offline users

video button : show options

avatar : change avatars (user settings)

close : exit miranda

minimize : hide miranda

zoom : about

call icon : hide/show offline users

in order to edit the picture displayed in the avatar space, you must edit iAvatar.jpg in the resources folder, and paste in your custom 28x28 image.

Skin updated with Minimize and Zoom Buttons, and made the Text, Voice and Video buttons stay in the middle.

just want know if are possible some kind of improves to make it more like real ichat one:

1) a png of Buddy List (or something moddable) on captionbar

2) a png for Nick Name

3) a call icon near the avatar

4) status icons for the nick name

5) smallest Scrollbars like the real ichat

6) scrollbars and arrows in the same way of mac (is it possible?)

1,2) I can make PNG's for both the Buddy List and the Nickname, but they would need to have a fixed size, otherwise they would appear stretched in Miranda. You can also open iChat.msf and edit "Buddy List" and "%profile%" to any text you want in the tProfile and tText sections.

3) i intend to make a call icon near the avatar, but it would need a different function as miranda doesn't support calling

4)can include that as a simple image (i don't know how to make it change with the status)

5)small scrollbars should be possible

6)afaik, that isn't possible

point 2) i think should be better png for this point beacause

we can add also sunken edges to the name words with photoshop ,

i will send to u the status light , sending a PVT
