iChat bubbles in Trillian Pro?

Yes, I know this has been asked many times, and I am aware there is nothing availible yet...

But I would just like to know:

Is there anything stopping somebody from making a plugin for Trillian Pro that lets you use iChat bubbles? It is actually possible or is there a reason why nobody has done it yet.

I have been looking around at IM clients... Trillian really stands out if you want it to be like iChat (thanks to donamitor or whoever) but there are no iChat bubbles.

I think if somebody (I could possibly do it with help from somebody I know) just got the css's from iChadium (a plugin for Adium whihc gives it iChat bubbles) and took all the code (changing it if need be) and sticking it in a plugin for Trillian pro, it should probably work... (with permission of the iChadium author ofcourse)

The reason why I'd like to see this happen with Trillian is because Trillian is a good, retail product which works great and has no (or not many) bugs. Miranda on the other hand is still in beta and is complicated for no0bs like me

Does anybody want to take on the chalenge or do I have to?

PS: Does Trillian have tabs or a tabs plugin? if so, at the top or bottom of the conversation windows. thanks. Also does it display something when the user is typing?

theres a new version of trillian in private beta.. maybe the new code will make it easier for a plugin to be made.

About the bubbles... you do know how to make them manually? If not... send me a pm

Edit. There is a way to make them for each contact...it´s a tmeconsuming work, but it works.

it can't be done.. danimator created virtual bubbles that would appear only if a certain event happened; they are basically just images. but they wouldn't appear around every single instant message that was sent. i think danimator had it set up for status changes.

yes, or you can just set the bubbles to appear for the nich of your buddies and yours, these are basicly just emoticons that appear in the log instead the name of the buddie

I alreayd knew about having the iChat bubbles for the events, but are you saying it's actually IMPOSSIBLE for it to be done woth the incoming and outgoing messages? Or has just nobody done it?

Ok, I'll have a go, but somebody else I know will do the actual coding (I dont know any programming at all)

I gather there are bits in there you could use? like let's say just making the messages like this:

outgoing message: all formatting removed, on left.

incoming messages: all formattijg removed, on right.

That wouldn't be a bad start... then just puting in the avatar, and the hard bit, adding in an image to go behind it using the one for behind, top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right, etc... (which of course would make the iChat bubble...

Can anybody confirm if this is actually possible or not?
