Two questions about 1.3

1: The flipping effect doesn't work for me. I can go to the backs of desklets, but it just changes instantly without the effect. Does that just mean my graphics card isn't good enough?

2: With showcase's animation, while it's fading in it will show the desklets as they were last time I had showcase open, and then they change as soon as the animation has finished. Is there any way to fix that? If not, it would be cool if it didn't do that in the next release.
