OS-X Style Website

Hello all,

Over the past week or so I've been working on uberaaz.com. I'm building it in a combination of PHP and JavaScript to look similar to Mac OS X.

At the moment the only things you can do are:

- open a finder window by clicking 'UberAAZ HD' or the mac logo on the dock

- do About on a finder window (Finder -> About Finder)

.. but I plan to add more functions!

It is a very well done for an interactive Mac desktop, but I feel that it is impractical for a web-site. It takes too long for me to load the images as you browse (56k).

Hmm.... Try talking to Flyakite (http://osx.portraitofakite.com). His website is VERY much like the OS X desktop.

But very well done website!

Thanks. Most of the images on the site are PNG at the moment, which would explain why your loading times are so awful. I'm working on it .
