What is your favorite firewall/antivirus security suite.
maybe it would be better to throw your pc out of the window and smash it down to the street. this will help definately 
If you want a good Anti-Virus, hands-down NOD32 wins. The app itself barely takes any memory, scans usually are a breeze for me. It doesn't take a long time to scan, which is surprising considering my 160 GB HDD has only 40.9 GB left. For a firewall, Zonealarm is fine, very nice app. For spyware/adaware/malware/etc., HiJack This! and Microsoft Defender.

Ad-watch (Ad-aware addon) eats huge amount of memory - sometimes 500 or 700 Mb. Its too much even for my 2 Gb. What would you recommend as an alternative ?

i dont recommend Avast but I recommend Trend micro pccllin and i love it.. i
use norton antivrus .. soo.. both of these never let my system get affected with virus..

no antivirus.. . dont know why, im not a fanatic of any antivirus software. i despise it actually, particulary that Symantec stuff. careful downloading + FF is good enough for me.
