Avedesks for Mac OS X?

Hi people, this may sound weird but i really like avetunes so much that i cant live without...

Now am on a mac and cant find any better widget to display Album art and the way to display folder on desktop etc... [ Konfabulator wont do! ]

so i just wonder whether is there any possibility of using avedesks on a mac ?

Bootcamp wont do either because am running PPC 12"iBook.

I think there is a program called menuet, or synergy that can do what avedesk can. Avedesk is basically based on apps on mac already.

I too miss avetunes more than anything. There is NOTHING that compares to avedesk's functionality on a Mac. Dashboard is pretty nice on the faster systems but none of them really come close.

Menuet is a very nice iTunes controller but is severly limited in terms of skinning and the fact that it is locked to the menubar.

I would love to see an Avedesk/Avetunes/Ave FTP for Mac.

@BZ, i seconnd that, NOTHING BEATS Avedesk on a Mac!

and dashboard works on the background , i just cant be bother to drag my mouse to the corner or expose it or whatever.

I have been on Linux for a while and I haven't found anything that matches AveDesk either (Although some come close). Let's recode it from scratch using some cross platform tech like gaim/firefox do: GTK+, XUL, wxWidgets come into mind...

I'm not able to make a desklet that can actually reach the stove and cook, but how about a desklet that will show you what you should be eating today. (Random 8 different things)
