transparent GIF on photoshop

how do you make a transparent image on photoshop CS2?...a .gif image without the background

Type this thread title in google and press search. Done.

People are so lazy nowadays.

i did, i only found tutorials for older photoshop versions, it says file>export>gif

but on CS2 there is no option

and all the CS2 tutorials are books or you have to pay to see them

File -> Save for Web

help|export transparent image.

Remove the background layer, press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+S to open web export dialog. Done.
