hay i love the built in recycle bin that comes with 1.3 and how it gives info on files and how much the files size is, and that i can use png files, but now i have 2 of them, so how do i get rid of the old one that comes with xp, you know when you install it auto puts the bin short cut and my computer onto desktop.
in other words with avedesk not active theres still the bin shortcut from when i installed xp, i have no need for that one.
It all depends if you want to keep your normal DS icons. If you don't right click on your DS "Arrange Icons By" Then go down to show/hide icons. This will hide all your icons that you have on your desktop. You don't want to delete the recycle bin as it's a real pain the butt getting it back.

yeah it did mps69_1999 but is there anyway just to get rid of just the bin.
Listen to what shmengie said and Google TweakUI. Once you get it, there's an option in the Desktop part to remove the Recycle Bin.
