Explorer And Desktop Icons

Hello,

A couple questions;

1.) How do you replace the drive and folder icons in explorer? The icons are properly replaced to their OS X counterparts in the Browse dialogue, but not within the actual explorer windows. (i.e. My Computer, ect). What method, .dll do I use to achieve this?

Note: I have replaced most of the system .dlls that I can with Iceman's Non-SP1 winXP system file replacements. (I dont have SP1)

2.) How can I achieve the Mac OS X look with the large icons on the desktop (i.e. the Drive icons, folders apps, ect.), without the use of DesktopX or other NON-freeware apps?

Maybe you didnt replace your shell32 right. Dont replace by hand, its tedious, use Replacer, its fast and gets the job done! Also you might wanna try rebuilding your icon cache in TweakUI, that solves some problems every now and then. As for the large icons, use the quick tutorial from Xicons. Hope this helps you a little bit.
