Firefox Bookmark problem

Well, the bookmark toolbar has become empty, even though I can't think what couldn've changed this over night. It was working yesterday, but since then all the comes up is the bookmark icon & the rest of my bookmarked sites on the toolbar have disappeared.

Has anyone here had the problem before? It's pretty annoying to not have back my bookmarks sinced I've gotten so used to using them everyday.

Do you know what happens with threads posted in GD instead in a proper forum? They get closed
