[Release] Panther Login Screen

Outstanding work ja450n, great logons.. :bow:

hi, i tried installing this logon, but i get pink borders around the Home, Question Mark, and Shutdown icons, like transparency is not working... it'd be great to have a Panther logon screen, looks sweet!

Thanks ja450n, these are exellent! And I just started using LogonXP about a month ago, it's a strange interfaced app and hard (for me) to figure out, but it serves the purpose. One time I applied a logon and it did something I didn't know XP could do. It locked my computer, I don't know what to do to get out of that, so I had to use the reset button to reboot. After that everything worked fine.

what are you using to load the theme??

i tried logon studio rc6 (from deskmod i believe) and one called LogonUIBootRandomizer. fwiw, it did this with judge's OSX logon too.

If you tried to edit it, you cant use paint, you will have to use paint shop pro :who's your daddy:

Where's the orange check mark next to the user image? I really think it should have one, because the REAL thing does. (I think) Besides it would look better. (IMHO)

i would try to put it there.. but i don't know what it does.

and those that i have talked to, that have/had panther.

could not tell me because the developer preview is too buggy..

when Panther actually comes out.. we'll be able to tell what it does.. and i will impliment it..

for now.. it's kinda silly to have a useless button...

I'm not sure if there is one, but you could search for an app simular to Logon Studio (freewase from stardock), that will convert it for you.

thanks ja450n for the offer, however, i've worked out how to change my logon screens. While playing about in styleXP, i noticed there was a tab for logons, so i just browsed to the your logon files, on my hard drive, and hey presto, my pc is yet another step close to being a mac.

Can anyone tell me if they load their logon screens this way?

oh ok, cause i had teh same but instead of the blue bg it had stripes bg and only one would show.. the rest would make me get the win2000 logon style

and the same happens with a boot screen, the one with the grey apple.. it just doesnt show, even if i replace ntksrol (whatever the name is) it goes back to normal winxp pro loading...

any clues?>
