Bluetooth.

Does anyone have any experience with using Bluetooth on OSX and Windows?

Here's my problem:

I have a 100m BT adapter on my Win2kPro PC which is connected to my Smoothwall and then to my Broadband connection.

My Dad has a 30m BT adapter on his 15" Powerbook.

What I want to do is use the BT connection to let the Powerbook surf the net from anywhere in the house.

Yes, I know I'd be much better off with a proper wireless card, but we already have the BT adapters, and I just want to see if it's possible. It's more of a challenge thing, than for practical use.

I can make the Mac see the PC fine, and can transfer files from the PC to the Mac's shared folder anywhere in the house, but I just can't work out what to do to enable the connection sharing.

On my PC I have the BT adapter as a 2nd network connection (my NIC being the first) and I can assign it an IP address.

It's the Mac I'm having problems with - I can only get it to look for a modem under the BT options. Does OSX not setup the BT adapter as a network connection?

The only way I can enter my PC as the network gateway is under Ethernet options, but obviously this doesn't work.

I've tried searching Google for info, but it seems no-one has done this before; there are plenty of explanations on getting a Palm Pilot etc. to connect to a Mac's net connection tho <_<

Anyone got any ideas or help?
