Disabling Automounter

Help please...

I installed avedesk, using it, and love it..but like everytime i put files in destop, like download files to desktop, a new icon shortcut is created....

Is there a way to stop from creating the icons itself??

this is called automounter

open desklets control panel

select extras menu

select modules

modify modules

uninstall it

then restart avedesk

Please search the stickied threads next time as I know this has been hashed over more than a couple times.
