Optimizing Photoshop on XP

Hi guys,

Only one question : is there any tricks to optimize the speed of Photoshop CS- (1 & 2) ?

I personally put the memory to 75% (=347 mo) But it's not really fast...

not sure if this'll help but to optimize the startup speed (by disabling plugins that you choose), search for Photoshop SpeedUp its on download.com

Scratch disk....

scratch disk and windows page files it's not be same on harddisk. Change scratch disk path.

Disable font preview (CS2 only I think)

1. Open Photoshop.

2. Choose Edit > Preferences > Type.

3. Deselect Font Preview Size and close Preferences.

4. Continue to work in Photoshop to test whether or not the performance issue is solved.
