Hey guys, came across this on the ol' internets.
I've downloaded it, and tried it, and it is very user friendly, and now you can encode in 320 MP3 with it too, It probably wont replace iTunes for most of you, but it does for me. Be sure to check out Urge if you can.

When in toolbar mode when minimized, is this dark/black? I can't stand not being able to skin the blue toolbar mode player of previous versions.

what i don't understand about iTunes and now wmp11 is in the now playing area there is always an option to buy what you are currently playing.
if you are playing it, surely you don't need to buy it? for everything else online there is usually 100 different opportunities to buy it before you can actually preview it so its still not needed...
the shoving of the now playing artist and title into the bottom lefthand corner isn't very nice either..im beginning to miss wmp10 already...

I just installed it. I like the new interface. The only thing that is annoying me is the OnlineStores tab.
It says that there are no available online stores for your location. I presume this is just for the UK at the mo. Are others having the same problem?

does it show up in 'add/remove', in case i don't like it?
it doesnt show up in add/remove programs. since i installed it, not only does it fail to start, but Norton Internet Security 2006 fails to function properly, and the Windows System Restore interface doesn't show up. I believe this is what has caused my computer to mess up. Any help on uninstalling it would be greatly appreciated. Send me a message on how to do it.

WMP 11 may be looking nice, but is still one of the most infuriating players ever invented.
There's no option for mass tagging, and it meddles with existing tags.
The only plus for this version is the library view.

well, i'm sure it's legit in that it's a real ms beta. but, i'm also sure it's a leak. i'm surprised ms hasn't made softpedia pull it down.
indeed-- if it were legit, you'd think that M$ would host a version on their site, or even provide a link form their site. i feel so dirty.
