RK genie effect

i really love the genie effect but i can't seem to be able to use it eh?

all i get is "Error in creating Direct 3D device"

*i know that my direct 3D is working.

VIA/S3 graphics, inc

chip : SG3 ClE266

memory: 32MB

32 bit , 60Hz, internal

plug and play monitor.

i am not an PC expert so spare me the "mouth watering" details =p
