Searching: Testers for next AveDesk

The next version of AveDesk is shaping up nicely, despite the lack of time on my side. Currently, I'm in the stage that I need some people to try to break the new stuff, make properly argumented recommendations about what to change, think along with the project.

If you like to work with unreleased applications, have an "avedesk feeling", have enough time and if you are a nice person who doesn't yell at me, please reply in this post with your credentials and anything you would like to say.

People I'm not looking for, often act as follows:

  • saying: hey thanks for the app, it works great, no bugs.
  • yelling: you should, you should , you should, you should, I want, I want, I want, I want
  • saying: it crashes. (without any extra info).

I would very much like to be a beta tester too.

I think avedesk is an app which has a lot of potential, which IMHO is underused at the moment. I would love to provide some input and have strong opinions on where this project could/should go. I'm willing to do anything I can to help the development effort.

I, for one, would love to throw my hat into the ring, raise my hand, volunteer for mission. Since switching over from DesktopX, AveDesk has been my desktop mod/widget engine and will never look back.

Hi AndreasV, I would love to be a beta-tester.

I want to get involved in your your project in anyway I can and I think beta-testing is an important step in a project like yours.

I have used avedesk since the first version and I cannot live wihout it.

Furthermore, I am French and therefore I am using a french windows, which could help you with some eventual bugs ( I am sure there is not any :P ) that other ppl don't have.

Finally, I have a lot of free time until this summer, so please take me as a beta-tester, even if I have never been an avedesk beta-tester before.

I'd love to test this version out as well. I tested 1.2 and 1.3. I also made the installer for 1.3 (which never got put on the AveDesk site), and have been a loyal AveDesk user since day 1. :)

im a complete novice when it comes to coding and things but when things go wrong on my pc i can usually find the root of the problem quite quickly
