Wireless broken

my mom's PC recently has really slow wireless conenctions, and when i look at the properties window it says the connection is 2.0mbps... i looked under the cover and the little metal thingie that the antenna conencts to and is on the pci card is loose.. is there a way to fix it or should i just buy another one?

Wireless adapters are cheap... you might as well get a new one.

Yeah, just buy another one, maybe from Tiger Direct: http://www.tigerdirect.com/

For now, just take it out and use an Ethernet cable for your internet, it will be faster (I hate wireless!).
