Hi all, I'm trying to do the same as cybero and without any luck thus far. Although, to be honest, I have only attempted it for the last 2 hours. I'm going to see if there are other progs available to do the conversion b/c like most XP users, I find tons of great icons that happen to only come in .ico format. I'll let everyone know if I come up with anything. BTW, I have objectdock and I think perhaps one of the proggies with it may work.

ICO-->PNG, you want AveIconifier (released in the forums) or IconDrop, which is a desklet for AveDesk (both released here, and I think you can find both on avedesk.org).

Stuffit Expander is freeware. It comes as part of a trial pack now. As for conversion. There's a number of threads here and a good start here http://www.virtualplastic.net/html/col_mac1.html
