Pidlshorcut not updating

I need some help with this desklet.. I managed to get it running right where it'd displays all 4 of my hdd's with the labels stating how much space is used and how much is free..

Only problem, it doesnt update.. If I downloaded say 50mb file and put it on my C: drive.. I look at AveDesk, and it still says the same amount of free space.. If I shut down AveDesk and reopen it, it shows the correct free space.. Is this a bug? or just how the thing works.. If thats the case, what is the point of it if it doesnt show real-time stats?

Didnt work.. I checked the Automatically set mainlabel to the name of the file the desklip points to and it still does not update in real-time.. I moved 10 gb over and it stayed the same..

I think the problem is just that AveDesk only updates when a new file is created or a file is deleted. If you download a file and the size grows incrementally, Avedesk won't pick this up.

If you're using torrents, see if your client (I recommend uTorrent) supports allocating the full file size on start. That way, AveDesk will show the correct disk space, and you'll also reduce fragmentation on your hard drives.

AveDesk relies on the system (Windows) to be supplied with updates about the filesize.
