0x0000007b BSOD right after boot logo.

when i boot up my computer, everything is fine, and after showing the boot screen, a BSOD with 0x0000007b as the problem shows up.

i looked it up, but it dosen't tell me how to fix the problem.

I took it out, and installed it on another computer. the same problem, so i know it's the hard disk.

i used the original HD of the other computer, and setted my problem disk to slave to salvage data. same problem occurs, boot screen, then BSOD.

is there any way i can fix my HD? is there any way i can salvage the data inside?

a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

if this is the first time you've seen this stop error screeen, restart your computer. if this screen appears again, follow these steps:

check for viruses on your computer. remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. check your hardd drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.

run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive curruption, and then restart your computer.

In that case, yeah, try using a Linux Live CD. If you already have Knoppix, it should do the job--manu use Ubuntu though.
