converting flash movies to any other format

er i dont know if i put this here....or in 3rd party software

i have a lot of flash movies saved on my computer, is there any way i could convert them to another format so that i could get them onto my ipod (i know it takes mp4 format but i can deal with that later)

preferably i'd like it to convert the sound too but if worst comes to worst i can record the sound and add it later....

i've tried screencapture programs but the video obtained is either far too choppy or its too fast to sync with any audio.

ps. also if someone could devise a way of getting my sig in vid format too...

yup i did, i can't find any program that i've tried that does that, ive even fought off sarcastic comments from friends who claim that it was as easy as typing that into google or msn, winmpg and winavi cant convert my movies they claim an audio track is missing or video isnt found.
