A little help required.

Hey, I'm new. My first post, yay. =)

Anyway, enough with the kiddie stuff, I need some help with objectbar and a few other things. So far, my PC Looks 95% like a mac. The remaining 5% is:

1) The finderbar.. it's exactly alike and all, it just doesn't display "File Edit View Go" etc, for firefox. (I use objectbar)

2) The finder.. so far I have changed my explorer.exe to look like one.. and iXplore--I have tried... but it doesn't remember the view I like.

3) The minimize/maximize window transitions.

4) The Exposé.

5) If I click on any menus on objectbar, it shows ObjectBar as it's the active window... any ideas?

If anyone could possibly help me with any of these, I'd really appreciate it.

4) The Exposé.

For this I use Winplosion, it's a pretty good recreation of Apple's Exposé and you can find it for free. Search the forums here and you will find a link to a game that you can beat to get a serial number. It's not too hard. GOOD LUCK!

1. Impossible to fix using Objectbar. You can probably find more about that on the OB forums.

2. Depends on what finder you're using. Looca and NeXplorer are also popular, so you might want to give those a try. Search here.

3. Use RK Launcher, it's pretty much the only way (I think there was a proof-of-concept provided by Stardock several years ago).

4. Search here. TopDesk, WinPlosion, etc.

5) If someone gives the answer to that, I'm closing the thread .

Next time, search first please! Good to know you're close to Mac-ifying your PC though .

Well, I am using Looca, and I am impressed... but I can’t quite get it to remember the view I like.

Also, the default view is thumbnails.. which show my folders like the screenshot below. Any ideas on how I can change the way thumbs display?

While, you could hack shell32.dll and change the default Thumbnails Folder icon...but you didn't want anything that difficult, did you?
