[Link] ObjectDock 1.3 now out!

One of the new 'features' is the ability to have the dock reserve its edge so stuff doesn't overlap it like before...but guess what? As far as I can tell, ONLY IN PRO!

I will NOT pay $20 just to keep things from jumping over my dock. It's a problem but not one I'm going to blow that money on.

I guess I'll just keep using Dremation's buggy resizer until the kind folks at Stardock can be a tad more generous about this.

But yeah, that's why this is labeled Help. Can anyone find the setting or IS it just for friggin Pro?

Hey there,

Temporary bad news, sorry. I just sent an email to try and get that changed looks like someone down the line got some wrong information about what to advertise as being in this release. Reserving the edge is only in the Plus version right now...only because the feature so far has only been implemented for the tabbed docks, not zooming docks. So don't be mistaken ; upgrading to plus will not make it so your classic zoomer docks have the ability to reserve the edge!

That ability is planned for the next release of ObjectDock along with some new themeing features. I can say for sure that the reserving-of-edge ability for zooming docks will be available in the free version as well as the plus when it is implemented. In the mean time, tabbed docks only!

I wasn't going to, but some other poor souls might have dropped the 20 expecting their zooming dock to be reserved if it wasn't for that post.
