Aqua-Soft ForumsI just d/l AveDesk to my computer and have noticed that I must donate to use it. When I click on the "donate" website I get paypal. This is fine, but it only uses euros. How do I donate in US currency? Also, what is the recommended donation amount? I have not used this program and don't know if I will like it. No offense, but I don't want to waste money on a product that I won't use. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What makes you think you have to donate to use it? Post a Screenshot?
It's donationware. If you use it and you can then send a little mula Ave's way. Also, another incentive to keep it going. That's all. 'nough said. 
don't get me wrong... I have donated to Ave's efforts and encourage others to do the same, and I think everyone on this thread has expressed a positive view of donating.. however, i think HStafford seems a little misled in his view that he has to donate.. even before trying the software out.
All due respect but I think donationware should gain donations based on it's deserved reputation, merits, whether the user first gets to try it out and finds the software to his/her liking etc.. Saying 'nough said' is a bit curt when HStafford obviously thinks for some reason the program cannot be used without donating.
@HStafford, again, post a screenshot and let's see if we cannot get you past whatever's stumping you to be able to try out this wonderful app.. hopefully you'll like it enough to drop some reciprocity ave's way. By the way.. & others correct me if I'm wrong, but if you can donate via paypal.. i think that you do not have to worry about conversion... just post how much you'd like to donate in USD (keep in mind that at present = 1USD = 1.26239 EUR (Look this up yourself as I may have it wrong.)
@SirSmiley, i think what you wrote did not come off as misleading.. just that, by itself, it did not contribute to the question asked, and so came off more directed at me.
Yeah, I see how it came off & you stated it much more eloquently. You're right on paypal because I donated that way. I prefer donationware over shareware.

me too.. for one thing.. the philosophy that coding is better put to use improving the apps rather than new ways of keeping in check, it's usage, makes me happier donating to devs.
