Removing empty menu bar in Firefox

Please does anybody know how to hide empty Menu bar after using CompactMenu? Usually this is solved by transfering there all the buttons from Navigation bar and hiding this one, but in some themes the Navigation bar and Menu bar have quite different appearance.

I'm sure this is was already answered but I couldn't google anything.

Thanx for any response...

Did you try right-clicking on the empty bar space and unchecking "Navigation/Bookmarks" Toolbar?

Yes I can hide Navigation or Bookmarks bars but I need to hide Menu bar. That is the bar with "File Edit View" etc. I used CompactMenu to remove these and transform them into single button with slide down menu wich is now located in Navigation bar (it saves space). So right now I need to get rid of the empty Menu bar - It can't be done in the same way as hiding nav/bookmarks toolbars...

eerr im not sure theres an easy way of doing that....you would have to edit the theme itself and thats rather time consuming

You know, I'm glad you people are trying to help but can't you at least read the whole question? As I've said I usually do this, but some themes (including my current) just treat Menu bar differently than Navigation bar. That's why I'm asking if anybody knows how to hide original Menu bar...

If this is what you mean: drag the buttons, url, and search field up one so that your back/forward, url bar, etc are in the menu bar. Close the nav bar if you don't need it.

Then yes, that is the only way known. There is no way to hide the original menu bar that I know of besides, like said above, editing the original CSS.

Something that would help everyone answer your question would be to give links to these "different" themes. What makes them any different structurally than say, Safire?
