Fake OSX

Hi... sorry before.... i dont know where i have to post this thread. but i think this is the right place to discuss mac..... ok began from this.....

that os is fake... and i have to made this for my little project.

Title : Doeta OSX (Doeta is a name of school in my town)

Concept : Profesional (i think mac is a pro OS as long is )

Overall the interface similar like OS X. but i dont know inside MAC interface because im a PC user.

can aqua-soft'ers help me to find the interfce like....

- Booting area....

- Sleep area...

- Force quit area...

- Desktop changer area...

- or anything about mac & post in here

Actually, I had the exact same question, what is the difference between tiger and panther?? And are OS X and OS 10 different too??

Actually, OS X 10.0 was Cheetah.

And OS X and OS 10 are one and the same.

The major differences between Panther and Tiger are Dashboard and Spotlight. Also, there is a cleaner look in Tiger, a more glassy look, rather than pinstriped.

Yeah, graphically, Tiger lightens some of the pinstripes Panther had, adds the spotlight button, and tries to give a more "smooth metal" look than Panther's brushed.

I'm sure there are far more complex terms used to describe this change on "real" sites. I'll try and look it up, but I guess ArsTechnica would be a good start.

So "OS 10.0 = OS X" or is it "10.x =OS X"

And thank you. That clears up lot of confusion. But now I think, why did Apple have to name every version of the OS differently. IS OS 11 gonna be named after dogs or monkeys??
