Aqua-Soft ForumsI have this problem recently after I've installed the version 3. I have power dvd 5, windows media player version 10, media player classic and dixv player. It all seems that whenever I'm trying to play a movie, there is this big black rectangle blocking the scene and I've tried to enlist the the particular media player into the Y's shadow list. Yet, it doesn't do any help. Why? Is there any solution or what so ever? Please help me.

sounds like problem with your DirectX installation.....
try upgrading to latest DirectX runtime. (Latest is DirectX 9.0c February 2006 distribution)
I had the same problem, with VLC and a game (TrackMania). I had a black screen in state of the video or 3D rendering.
I tried to update Directx but nthing chenged. I uninstalled Flyakite and everything went fine.
I have DirectX 9.0c and it doesn't work.
Me too had problem with movie players. My Comp works smoothly before i play any movie files. But after playing any movies especially PDVD6 I cant see any opened window. It shows opened in the taskbar but i couldn't see it.Recently i have found out that they are jumping to extreme right. Now i neem to press Alt+Space and select move and move with arrow keys. Help me please.

Windows XP SP2 - newly patched and fresh installation prior flyakite.
Any suggestions on how to solve this problem. Even other Users with usual Windows style don't work.
Well I found the problem. I'm using Yahoo Widget Engine which is responsible for the DVD rendering problem.
