How to make maximized programs not overlap the dock

Here's how to make maximized windows unable to overlap RK Launcher without using any extra programs. All you have to do is:

1. Resize the taskbar to the size of your dock. Resizing arrows will appear if you leave your mouse pointer over the top of the taskbar. Just click and drag. You may have to play with the size of your dock a little so that they match.

2. Restart.

3. Tada!

LOL!

But I want the taskbar to be on the upper edge of the screen... Or do you have something else in use as a taskbar?

Ah, yes, I didn't think about that. I use ObjectBar and it does everything I need it to.

is this a joke?

it may stop the maximized window from overlapping rklauncher, but now rklauncher and the taskbar are overlapping

if the taskbar is hidden with rk or ob, the maximized window still covers rk

You can do this with Hawkeye ShellInit, a program that you can find at www.hawkeyetech.com/products/freeware.htm

It lets you run scripts that set margins on your screen, just read the readme or search around a little to find out how.

Hawkeye is what i use as well, and it doesn't run in the background either.

Also why is this tagged as release?
