Link's corrected, also file's name. But WRONG file. :confused:
I'ved downloaded but when install I've got 'AppleWork6 for Window' instead. :confused: :confused:

I'd try downloading it few minutes ago and it give me the correct file Setup i - Xplore 2.0 F.exe

For your info, the file is not hosted on osx-e server by request from the developer, so I have no control over what file is being downloaded there.

@philou - I'd installed this finder, changed the language to english US without any problem and even though it is far to compare with Mac OS X finder, but to say all the hardwork by the developer deserved to be trash is quite harsh in my opinion.

As far as features are concerned, looks great, though it is very glitchy, especially the skin which is a bit messy, but keep up the good work!

well, I did not want to sound like an asshole, I'm sorry.

I was quite angered about the moving/copying folder behaviour, that might have shone through my "review".

Thankies to the developer for spending hours on this finder clone.

I'm generally a calm person and have no intent to step on peoples toes English is not my first language, so it's likely possible that I don't really hit the mark with my words.

deetox10, I would really like to try out some of your other programs; could you please tell me which ones have english versions available? I did try i-XploreII and chose english during setup but the program still came out in French, but stability issues with the program caused me to curb use more precisely. I thank you for the effort you put into the program and look forward to future updates

For the moment, there are only i-Xplore and i-Find that support translation... BUT : i-Cover and i-See do not need to know speak french !!! you can try it !!!

I said it looks good but it's slow.. very very slow for me to display. When resizing I can see all layers drawing, changinf from list to icons (vise versa) is really slow... not really easy to use

BUG: when using ALT+TAB, the content of the window is not redrawing until I mouseover an element

Thanks for this APP, needs a little improvement but great potential

I really do not undestand : I have a 2000+ athlon and it work very very fast !!!

Have you some ideas about the functions that you are using when i-Xplore is slow ( I know for the redrawing ! lol ).

The application takes a long time to launch

drawing is slow (on resize, switching applications)

when navigating it says "Recherche des informations en cours" for 2 sec to display the list (in list mode) and sometimes longer for big folders (like programm files)

It takes 5 sec to display the columns mode (that I can understand it's slow because advanced)

On the screenshot, you'll see that some drive names are not displayed (I didn't named my C and D, but E and F are named), also the control pannel doesn't have a name.

You'll see also that the length of the folder name should be shorter to avoid problems in column mode.

Zacks : I am not sure to understand but if you want to speak about others finder ( not i xplore ) it is not the good thread. and if you have some suggestions that can help me to do i-xplore "very great", you can transmit them to us. and to me !

It is a choice that I made to use my proper interface engine for all the window... But I will update it !!! I was not in my house this week so I could not change my codes but now it is all right... I will change the functions that are too slow.
