Please post any comments.

And if you would like to help out please post here.

This skin might take a while for me. I am starting from scratch and I have no programing knowledge.

If you are a skinner and have any information to boost my learning experience. please P.M me or post here.

I am thinking mabye a tutorial or is you might even have some time to put into this project w/ me. I would appriciate it.

Thank You all.

The buttons are...interesting; not sure how usable they'd be long-term, but hey, at least it's something different.. I do like the blurred glass you use...

shades of grey seem to be too dark.. if your going for a vista-ish look it should be more transparent..

also the buttons are a little too big and should be away from the borders of the window.. like padded inwards evenly.. dont know about the blue.. maybe a green would work better, if your going vista-ish

looks promising though!

I was inspired by LHA and Percept 2 but I want to add elements of the "rollbar" effect, and Winamp remote functions for the bottom pannel.

I think the buttons will work for the style. although realisticly I will revise them quite a few times in the next couple of months. as well as add other theme elements.

My vision is to be able to access every part of the computer from one window w/ minimal hastle.

I like it alot. In my own vision in my head, this style could go far. Make your buttons more flat that "bulge" and like others have said, it is TOO grey. I have a windows vista photoshop style, but It's getting late and don't wanna waste time posting it. But yes, try green, give it kind of an "inward" look on the forward, backward, and toolbar buttons. As in give it and inner shadow in the center of the button and give it a very harsh glare.

Yes, you gave it a drop shadow on the grey part wich is more inward from the border, it is WAY TOO BULGEE! MAKE IT FLATE! WITH GLARE! AND DIMENSION!

I know I am somewhat "criticising" your hard, but I'm only doing this because I know this inspiration can go VERY FAR IF YOU APPLY YOURSELF!

Ghostboy,

all respects. :)

thank you Ghostboy for your comments. I already started to change the skin a little.

I still don't have all the tools to put it together yet.

much better!!! I see potential, very original :)

#384165

how are you going to achieve the blur effect on the title bars?

#384169

I haven't figured that out yet. That will probably be a feature I leave out until Vista actualy comes out.

Although I have seen windowblinds do some bluring on the taskbar.
