Isight And Ichat

I have a question on the new iSight and iChat for Mac OS X. How does Apple intend to market these two products? iChat is really nice because Mac and PC users can communicate with each other. However, if iChatAV and iSight are exclusively for Macs, how does Apple intend to expand its markets? I must be an idiot or something, but I don't understand how Apple could stay is such a small niche.

Would there ever be a possibility of iChatAV becoming a PC peripheral like it has with the iPod? I think that was a briliant move by Apple to make iPod work with Windows.

iChat is an AIM compatible instant messenger. This means anyone with AIM, AOL or .Mac account can talk to each other. And AOL has combined ICQ to the mix which iChat users can too.

iSight is a Mac only camera for use with iChat to iChat. Not sure if it works with Yahoo on the mac, but I dont see why not.

So, Apple has access to the largest IM base in the world. Not too bad.
