I've noticed that many functions are not active, but it's normally for a first release.
You have used C# for case?

As soon as I execute it I get this:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate application
I have visual studio 6 installed and I hate that it crashes the programs when ever it likes and find error on webpages, does it has something to do with this error?

If you get error check if you have already installed Microsoft .Net Framework.
This .Net Framework needs for TextEdit FE.

@ThePowderRanger: Yes, TextEdit FE is written in C#. Edit menu not active yet and some others too, use keyboard shortcut to "copy", "paste", "select all" etc.
ctrl+c - copy
ctrl+v - paste
ctrl+x - cut
ctrl+a - select all
I jut uninstalled the whole thing, and tried on another computer and still get an error, it doesnt need an extra file? or it just uses what is provided on the zip.

Install this font into your systems font folder.
Ok, i just installed the font, and still get this error, I just unzipped again the file. Gonna try on another computer, is anyone having this similar problem?
me too but i don't have the .net whatever on my computer it was like 25 mb the latest version anyway
i think i'll wait for the final release it seems really nice though

I am having the exact same problem however I goofed and didn't have the .net framework installed. I'll let you know once I get it installled :nuts:

the error previously reported was taken care of by installing the .NET framework.

Im sorry for not replying sooner Feat ive been busy as hell. I love this baby and whenever im on windows i will use this thing.

i plan on replacing this with word
i have high expectation for this app and from what i hear seems really good
i know feat is a talented programmer but there is no way this is going to be able to do everything that word can do, maybe wordpad but thats it, it'll take quite the while before all the features of word are implemented into this little thing.
Wasn't this supposed to be a Notepad-like program, not like word? At least I got that impression.

This app is another one of the real masterpieces of the Aqua Application Collection. Like the iPhoto, TextEdit FE, works just like the way the Aqua Emulators do, FeAt, Wonderful Job Ever.
I love also the way you placed the menus, it well integrates Objectbar. This is so cool!
However, setting the default font on the preferences option gives me an error. But it can be changeable on the Format Menu.
And also, Fonts are very important. You included the TrueType FOnt or .ttf. Please consider also, the .fon files(Standard Fonts) and also OpenType Files.
Again, its a worth very good for a 1.0.1 Alpha Release. I can wait for any Release Candidates, Betas, etc. I am here to help you my friend.
