looking good :D, *takes the dust off WMP, it's been a while*, the only problem I see is the close/minimize/maximize buttons which look a bit grainy

Grainy thing is fixed, just download the file again ;) tnx 4 the comment

is there any way to add shadows to skins?

#382403

Yes you can do it with the basic shadow of Styler toolbar, to download go to: http://stylefantasist.com/

Welcome to AS, and what an entrance :)

I went over to your DA gallery and tested out your 3 WMP skins and I'm quite impressed so far. I left a comment on one of the submissions but will post it here as well because I can also post a screenshot.

I really like where this is going but could you please implement these suggestions across your media player skins:

1) I really like the fact that you can double click the body of the skin and get the playlist, but could you please make it so that if you double click the player window again, it would close the playlist?

2) I believe this skin remembers the size of the playlist (when the user adjusts the size with the corner gripper) but one of the other players in your gallery does not remember the user defined playlist resized dimensions.) As this one does remember the playlist dimensions, perhaps the one that does not remember has a 'bug'?

3) In all of your skins, there is no button or method of opening the video window. Could you please add a control to open and close the video/visualization window?

4) I really like the mouse-hover volume control appears effect. However, it is still very difficult to grab the control and use it to adjust the volume. Could you please make it so that when the volume control fades in, that by clicking simply on or near, causes the volume to be adjusted. That means only have the volume control fade in when the mouse crosses over (or near) the circular area representing the volume dial. For instance, when the mouse hovers over the play pause & forward/backward buttons, the volume control would fade out and thus you would not accidentally adjust the volume. But As long as the volume controls are present, simply clicking the mouse and moving it around would adjust the volume. This would make the action much easier, I would believe. I will post a screenshot of the area where the volume controls would fade in as a suggestion.

Thank you for considering these humble requests, it's been hard finding a functional and useful skin which realistically would able to replace the default WMP interface for me :)

you managed to develop a skin in such a way as if apple would have created it :)
