I have a problem with photoshop... i want to create an A2 document, and i do so.. the problem is, when i zoom it 100%, it is much, much bigger on my screen than A2 should be... is this normal?...
the dimensions, on centimeters, are right! but it always opens a really big picture, bigger than it should, i think...shouldn't 100% be, on the screen, similar to the real sheet size?... with A4, the same thing happens: on 100%, it's much bigger than an A4 sheet...
A4 is 2480x3508 px, of course it will appear that it big on your computer. Don't worry it's correct, type some text on the page and print it, you'll see that it's correct.
Assuming I understand what you're saying, this is where the whole resolution thing comes into play. Standard screen resolution is 72 ppi (pixels per inch), not sure what the metric equivalent is off the top of my head. So when you open a new document check resolution box to see what the setting is.
If it's set any larger the document on screen is going to appear bigger to usually accomodate for printing when in fact it is the same size, just better quality. Stardard print resolution is 300ppi, but some people try to cut corners and can sometimes get away with 150ppi.
In retrospect, if the resolution is higher, it's going to be bigger on your screen that it actually is, it's very rare, especially with different screen resolutions that it's going to be the same size on screen that it would be in real life.
Hopefully I wasn't too confusing and helped figure out your issue.
this depends on your chosen dpi count, it seems not to fit because you dpi is higher than 72dpi. Have a look at the printer preview, it will fit.
