Default Windows Command Prompt

I installed and used FlyakiteOSX for a few months and decided to get back to the default Windows look. The uninstallation went smoothly with one exception, whenever I open a command prompt it still appears as the terminal look of OS X. I changed the colors and the prompt back to a normal DOS look but after exiting and restarting the prompt all the settings reverted back to the terminal appearance again.

I've looked in a few places but couldn't find any solutions, and thought the forums would be the next best place. I imagine there's a system file or registry setting containing the information for how the prompt appears which I haven't stumbled across yet. If anyone could lead me in the right direction I would appreciate the help. :)

In startmenu, in run... -> sfc /scannow

Yeah, a specific location would be better because I've tweaked my computer modifying many system files. Running that scan wants to replace all system files to normal, if I wanted that a reinstall would be just as simple.

I don't remember how FOSX keeps backups, but your command prompt is located at

C:WINDOWSsystem32cmd.exe

Does it look like there's a backup file near there?

-NC
