Moving Desktop icons slightly

Hello,

I was recently customizing my desktop when I stumbled upon this problem that I have encountered -- Is there any way to re-located/move the icons slightly below than it's original place?

This may sound very confusing so I made screenshots for it:

MY CURRENT DESKTOP:

WHAT I WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE (Look closely at the location of the desktop icons)

I know that you can use Avedesk icons and place them whereever I want, but I really need to know if this is possible for just normal desktop icons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My ingenious solution (if I say so myself) is to create a transparent icon and place it in the first postion.

I use it because Widescape Weather occupies the top left of my desktop and I dont want desktop icons to appear there.

You need to rename the icon to something like a blank space or a .

just so that it isnt noticable. The symbol I use cant be zipped so you'll have to rename it yourself.

I think you should use AveDesk, Windows default shortcuts aren't good looking.

right- click on the desktop > Arrande Icons By > Allign to Grid (it takes the 'v' from it). Now you can move your icons wherever you want
